Drew McIntyre vs. Roderick Strong
If Strong wins, he gets a match with Roode after Takeover. If McIntyre wins, nothing changes. Drew powers him down to start and sends Strong down with a suplex slam for good measure. Roderick dropkicks him to the outside but gets tossed into the post for his efforts. An enziguri and belly to back onto the apron put Drew down though and we take a break.
Back with Drew in a seated abdominal stretch and a running kick to the head staggering him even more. Drew fights up and gets in a belly to belly and a top rope forearm drops Strong again. The reverse Alabama Slam gets two but the Claymore is blocked with a jumping knee to the face. A headbutt catches Strong on top but he knocks Drew into the Tree of Woe, only to have Roode run in for the DQ at 12:38.
Winner: Roderick Strong
Roode beats up McIntyre with a Glorious DDT to end the show.

Drew McIntyre vs. Sean Maluta
Drew takes a knee in his corner, staring down his competition. He and Maluta grapple until the referee breaks them up and Drew gestures towards the centre of the ring. Maluta slowly walks there and they continue grappling into the opposite corner where the ref breaks it up again. Crosschops by McIntyre. Maluta hits back but McIntyre hits harder, knocking Maluta to the ground twice. He’s man-handling this guy.
McIntyre with a suplex slam showing off incredible strength. Irish whip to the corner. Gets a boot to the face. Maluta leaps to the top rope, launches himself and hits a Codebreaker of sorts on McIntyre for a 1 count. Right hands by Maluta, followed by a flying forearm in the corner. McIntyre reverses the whip and kicks Maluta as he springs up, right in the chin. Ouch.
McIntyre’s breathing deeply and he unloads right hands on Maluta. Up to the top rope, elbow to the head of Maluta, dropping him to the mat. Maluta’s got some fight left in him but McIntyre headbutts him in the face…and he’s bleeding from underneath the right eye. He charges up and nails Maluta with his running front kick (Claymore) to the face. Pinfall is successful.
Winner: Drew McIntyre
Post-match, McIntyre’s interviewed on the ramp. He’s not concerned with Wesley Blake, but if Blake wants a little attention, he can get in the ring next week. Sounds like a challenge to me.

Backstage, Drew McIntyre is asked about the #1 contendership match tonight. He says it will be a great match even though he’s not in it. He’s learned, though, that if something’s not happening for you, you make it happen.

Andrade “Cien” Almas vs. Drew McIntyre
Cien does his usual start of match lounging as he evades a grapple from McIntyre. This is followed by McIntyre throwing Cien into the ropes where Cien, again, lies on the middle rope, relaxing. So, McIntyre kicks Cien directly to the floor below. He continues bringing the chops and punches until he’s walking up the ring steps and Cien trips him.
As they re-enter the ring, it’s Cien delivering the slaps. McIntyre tries to counter but Cien is able to force him to the mat for a quick 1 count. He stomps on McIntyre in the corner, backs off, runs at him, stops, yells and slaps McIntyre in the face. Insulting.
McIntyre slowly rises to his feet andhe means business. He throws Cien into the opposite corner and unloads a barrage of punches. Off the top rope…clothesline! He lifts Cien on to his shoulders. Cien wiggles free. The two trade chops to the chest. McIntyre gets a few more in. Off the ropes, powerslam by McIntyre.
He tunes up in the corner and rushes Cien with a running knee smash to the face. 1-2-3.
